Dr. Prashanth Rao

Dr. Prashanth Rao is a Consultant GI Minimal Access Surgeon, Onco-Surgeon, and Bariatric Surgeon at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital, Mumbai. After earning his MBBS and MS (General Surgery) from top medical institutions, he pursued advanced training in Laparoscopic Surgery from Louis Pasteur University, France, and completed his FRCS from Edinburgh, UK. He has been a key contributor to Single Port Laparoscopic Surgery since 2007 and serves as a mentor for Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS). Dr. Rao has received numerous academic awards and distinctions, authored multiple research papers, and is an active faculty member at national and international medical conferences.
