Types of Treatments

Craniotomy (Open Brain Surgery)- This involves removing a part of the skull bone to expose the tumor and remove it. The skull bone is placed back after removal of the tumor. Keyhole / Microscopic Brain Tumor Surgery- This is a minimally invasive brain tumor surgery procedure that involves creation of a few small holes to access the tumor and remove it. Brain Tumor Surgery With Neuronavigation- This is a newer approach which involves the use of advanced neuronavigation machines that allows the surgeons to remove the tumor from hard to reach areas of the brain. Non-invasive Brain Tumor Treatment (CyberKnife)- This is a advanced brain tumor treatment that involves the use of non-invasive radiosurgery machine called CyberKnife to shrink tumor with the help of radiation.
