Dr. Muthukumaran CS is a leading Pediatric Interventional Cardiologist with over a decade of experience in diagnosing and treating congenital and structural heart conditions in children. As the Chief Pediatric Interventional Cardiologist at Apollo Children’s Hospital, Chennai, he has successfully performed over 2,500 pediatric cardiac catheterization procedures since 2009. His expertise includes Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) for both pediatric and adult patients, as well as specialized training in Fetal Echocardiography. He is proficient in complex interventional procedures such as Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) closure, Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) closure, and Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) closure.
